Try Several Search Engines
A lot of the smaller childcare job sites don't appear in Google search resuls, so try to use at least 5 other search engines like Altavista, Lycos, ASK, MSN Search, etc and directories like About, CDnet, Jayde. Use key words such nas "nanny jobs," "sitter jobs" and "child care jobs" without specifying the location.

Put Yourself Out There
Visit at least 5 new job websites that you found from the differnt search engines. Post your profile or resume If the websites you found allow you to. The more you post the better your chance - simple enough, rigtht? When you find a new oppotunity don't wait! Get your cover letter and resume ready to apply.
